Apex AVI Converter is an application that helps you convert AVI /Divx/Xvid to various video formats like ASF, WMV, MPEG, VCD, DVD, MOV, QT, QuickTime, RM, RMVB, and formats compatible with Apple iPod, Sony PSP, Cell Phone 3GP, Microsoft Zune Player, Microsoft Xbox, Pocket PC, Portable Media Players, Apple TV, iPhone. It can also convert to flash files, and extract audio from your AVI videos to MP3, WMA, WAV, MP2, convert video to GIF animations or extract scenes to BMP, EPS, JPG, PCX, PSD, PDF, TIFF, WMF, EMF, PNG, J2K pictures.
It supports batch conversion to process multiple simultaneous files, allows you to trim by selecting start and end points of a segment to encode, and has the ability to automatically shutdown your computer after a job is done. It also supports large video files (above 2 GB).
The program has a simple interface, really intuitive and easy to use, wit the basic tools. If you have some AVI files and need to convert them, this tool will help you. No editing or advanced features are available (in case you want to flip image, add effects, or change color, keep looking).
